Nerida Aylott began her career in the art world at Sotheby's where she worked for 15 years. She subsequently worked for both eBay Australia and the World Monuments Fund project at Angkor, Cambodia.

In 2001 Nerida moved to Hong Kong and began learning about and collecting Chinese contemporary art, which evolved into a broader interest in contemporary art of the Asia-Pacific region. Nerida now divides her time between Hong Kong and Sydney.
